Poverty Isn't Just a Struggle, It's a Business (Inspired by Proverbs 11:14)

Let's face it, poverty isn't just a hardship anymore. In some places, it's a business. The system profits from people's pain, and the ones in charge seem to benefit the most when others are struggling. It's frustrating but it's not hopeless.

It's hard to stay hopeful when it feels like everything is designed to keep you down. But here's the truth: even in a broken system, you still have power. Your mindset, your determination, and your refusal to give up. those things can't be taxed or stolen.

Whether is your own country, the state you live in, your community, or my home country Haiti, some places thrive off poverty.

It's not just about bad luck or bad decisions. In some places, poverty is deliberate.
The rich get richer off the backs of people struggling to survive. Politicians and the powerful benefit from keeping people dependent, scared, and exhausted.

In places like Haiti--and many others around the world--poverty isn't just a crisis. It's a business.

The sad part is, the system isn't designed to lift people up, it's designed to keep them exactly where they are.

It's easy to feel trapped in it. You watch prices go up, jobs disappear, and the people in charge keep playing their games, making their money, and offering false hope.

But here's what you need to remember:
Even in a rigged system, you still have a choice.

They can take your money. They can limit your options.
But they can't take your willpower, your mindset, or your creativity.

You are not powerless.

Your ability to keep learning, to connect with others, to think bigger, and to refuse to settle for less, that's your weapon.

It's not fair. It's not right.
But it's reality. And it's why you have to protect your peace, focus on your goals, and never let the system convince you that you're stuck forever.

Poverty is a trap but your mind doesn't have to be.
