I grew up in church and I believe that one verse, and the way I communicate, can change your entire day. This isn’t a site for long sermons or heavy theology.

This started from something personal.

I didn’t set out to write devotionals.

In fact, I didn’t even know what I was doing was considered devotionals.

I was simply sharing my thoughts about life, my feelings, and tying them to Bible verses that spoke to me in that moment.

In fact, I wasn’t even a churchgoer.

But the values my mother passed down — rooted in the Bible — stayed with me. Over time, I found myself wanting to encourage others through real, honest reflections tied to verses that touched my heart.

That’s how From A Verse began.

What started as messages shared within my Haitian-American community grew into something bigger.

Every time I stopped, people would reach out asking for more — and I realized there’s a real need for simple, relatable inspiration.
