Let Go of Toxic People--They Won't Change (Inspired by Jeremiah 13:23)
🔗 Share this on: Facebook TwitterSometimes the best thing you can do for your peace is to walk away from toxic people and constant drama. No matter how much you hope they'll change, some people thrive on negativity. Protect your energy--let them go and focus on your own growth.
Sometimes, you've got a toxic person, a crooked soul, right next to you. Instead of walking away, as you should, you stay stuck there next to that person. You're asking God to change their life. Are you serious?
A person with dark skin can't change their skin color.
A leopard can't remove the black spots on its body.
In the same way, that wrongdoer next to you, who's gotten used to doing evil--there's no way they're suddenly going to start doing good.
Some people around you are like honeybees. They give good advice. When you're near them, they encourage you to do what's right. A person like that will always help you and push you forward in life.
Those honeybee-type people--get closer to them. Because one way or another, you're going to taste something sweet.
But there's another type of person, my brother, my sister--
They're scorpions.
The moment you get close, they're going to sting you.
That's all they know how to do: stir up drama, gossip, speak badly about others. While you're trying to build, they're tearing everything down.
People like that, these freakin' scorpions, once you identify them, stay far away.
When you see them coming, run. Move.
Get the "blank" outta there!
The Bible says in Jeremiah 13:23,
When someone is evil, when wickedness is all they know, Do you really think they're going to develop a habit of doing what's right?
No, my friend!
Stay far from toxic people.
The only kind of advice they can give you is poison.

Yep, all of this is in the Bible, can you believe it?
