Daily Encouragement, One Bible Verse at a Time

Welcome to From A Verse:
Real Inspiration. One Bible Verse at a Time.

I never thought I’d be inspiring people with words, certainly not using Bible verses. I didn't see that coming. Honestly, I didn’t even like going to church growing up. But the values my mother gave me were grounded in the bible, and somehow, they stayed with me through every chapter of life.

One day, I felt the urge to encourage my community — not with perfect sermons, but with real feelings about real situations, tied to a verse that spoke to my heart.

So I started finding verses in the bible that were connected with what I what want say, what I was feeling in the moment. I discovered later there care called "devotionals".

Here are just some the latest devotionals you will find on this web site:

That’s how all this started. And every time I tried to stop, the emails would come in: “How come you’re not sending those Bible inspirations anymore?”

So I continued...

As a Haitian-American and founder of FouyeBible.com, I began writing these in Haitian Creole. But now, I’ve created this new space to share those same messages with the English-speaking world.

Everything you’ll read here is inspired by a simple truth:
There’s always a verse that speaks to what you’re going through.

Each post starts with a moment from life — a thought, a feeling, an experience — and ends with a verse that grounds it. Nothing fancy. Just something real. From the heart. From a verse.

I really hope you get something out of this site.

At least that's my intention.
